July 3rd Country Fair
On July 3rd the Lions Club organizes the country fair. Booths are reserved and set up around the Chelmsford Common with food, crafts, and more. Events begin at 5:00pm. John Carson Road Race
Prior to the parade approximately 2000 runners compete / participate in the John Carson two mile road race.
Chelmsford Art Festival
A terrific part of the Independence Day celebration! Open July 2nd – 4th at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. See Wonderful Art & Enter Great Raffles! Chelmsford Business Association
Many of the CBA's board decided to form the Chelmsford Parade Committee and take over the Fourth of July Parade in 2007. A few are still on the current committee. An association of appromimately 200 member businesses. Established in 1990 by business people who were concerned with the many issues of owning and operating a business in the town of Chelmsford.
